Cast members from Twin Peaks, David Lynch‘s beloved cult mystery series, will embark on another nostalgia tour for fans, discussing the TV show and the late filmmaker this fall. Several cast members participated in similar events in 2025.
The new series, officially titled Twin Peaks: Conversation With the Stars, will variously see the participation of Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer), Ray Wise (Leland Palmer), Michael Horse (Deputy Hawk), Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Moran), Harry Goaz (Andy Brennan), and Twin Peaks: The Return executive producer Sabrina S. Sutherland. (Notably absent from the roster are the show’s biggest stars: Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Lara Flynn Boyle, and Mädchen Amick.)
“We are going back to the water, back to the trees and back to the land … back to the places where it all began,” Lee said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The event’s website blocks the tour dates into sections of the U.S., with the first taking place in Natick, Massachusetts on Sept. 16 and the final date concluding in Austin on March 20. It also specifies which cast members will be at each event, which includes special events at filming locations important to the show.
Various engagements, including at the “Palmer House” in Washington where Leland and Laura lived on the show and the Kiana Lodge (Twin Peaks’ Great Northern) where many scenes were shot, will find Lee and Wise drinking tea and eating dinner with select fans, including one on Halloween. On Jan. 20, which would have been Lynch’s 81st birthday, the United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles will host A Special David Lynch Birthday Celebration Event featuring the cast and performances of the music of Twin Peaks.
In other, unrelated Twin Peaks music news, actress and singer-songwriter Alicia Witt (the show’s Gersten Hayward) recently released a new album, Between Heaven and Earth, “inspired by the enduring influence of filmmaker David Lynch, Witt’s longtime collaborator, mentor, and friend.” She previewed the album with a music video for its “Freeze Frame.”
Twin Peaks, which Lynch co-created with Mark Frost, premiered in 1990 and was an immediate hit. As the second season’s plot got stranger and ABC opted not to renew it, it gained cult status, allowing Lynch to film a prequel movie, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, and sequel series decades later, Twin Peaks: The Return.
